Assets of Northern Fire Protection, a well-known commercial sprinkler contractor located in Sterling, Virginia.  This sale includes the physical inventory currently in the warehouse of the business, including:

 

LOT 1 – 2019 Chevrolet Silverado C1500, Pickup, VIN: 3GCNWAEH2KG305507, 4.3L V6 F OHV 12V, Gasoline, Rear Wheel Drive, White.  Odometer: 25,340 miles. Note: This vehicle is subject to a lien that the Seller will pay off with the proceeds from the sale.  The title will be delivered to the Buyer upon receipt of the title from the lienholder. A Bill of Sale will be provided to the Buyer by the Seller at time of payment.

LOT 7 – Sprinkler-specific inventory assets of Northern Fire Protection currently on site, including:

  • several hundred sprinkler heads of various types and sizes (ESFR heads, dry pendant heads, standard response chrome heads, quick response white poly heads)
  • one GAST and one GENERAL riser mount air compressors for dry sprinkler systems
  • a wet vacuum (for draining sprinkler systems)
  • four hydrostatic test pumps
  • Kidde FM-200 Clean Agent Fire Suppression System (contains halon gas, can only be sold to a licensed fire protection firm – verification of licensing required with your bid)

 

LOT 8 – Generic contractor and plumbing tools and supplies currently on site, including:

  • seven power pipe threading machines (ARCO or RIGID), plus three others that needs parts
  • roughly a dozen tripod pipe stands
  • seven large commercial toolboxes each of which should contain a power-actuated concrete nailer (HILTI DX600 or similar), a band saw, a pipe cutter (RIGID or REED), and a RIGID groover, plus assorted tools.
  • Lincoln arc-welder
  • acetylene mini-torch with four tanks
  • large inventory of supplies and tools including two shop vacs, numerous assorted Victaulic and ARGCO pipe fittings, Victaulic couplings, sockets, wrenches, hangers, nipples, drills, dry core bits, shop supplies, and related commercial equipment assets
  • Reliable flex-hose plus a variety of copper and CPVC pipes and fittings
  • large variety of ladders, including:

  • Eleven 10’ high metal frame racks
  • Seven 6’ high metal frame racks
  • Ten (approximate) metal or wooden racks of various shapes and sizes

 

LOT 10 - Office equipment and furniture currently on site (size, capacity, quality, and condition varies):

  • One executive-style corner office desk, hutch, and credenza
  • Nine wooden desks and three wooden credenzas
  • Four large, angled drafting tables
  • Eighteen metal filing cabinets and two wooden filing cabinets
  • Ten typical wooden bookcases and three sturdier, more decorative wooden bookcases
  • Fourteen typical office chairs and five higher-quality ergonomic office chairs
  • Snack room table with twelve stackable cushioned chairs
  • Various dry erase white boards, dry erase calendars, desk organizers, and generic office artwork

 

LOT 11 - Office electronics currently on site:

  • Five complete computers (PC, monitor, keyboard, mouse), one laptop, and four additional monitors
  • Nine Polycom desk phones, one printer, and one typewriter

 

TERMS and CONDITIONS:  Offers Due by May 27, 2022 @ 4pm EST. 

 

All of these assets will be sold in bulk lots identified in Exhibit A of the Asset Purchase Agreement.  Offers for individual pieces may not be accepted.  The counts and descriptions on Exhibit A are representations made in good faith but subject to verification by the buyer.  No adjustment will be made to any bid amount based on any discrepancy in unit counts.  Each offer is an independent bid, not contingent on the approval of any other bid being accepted.  Trustee retains the right to make the Lots larger or smaller at her sole discretion.  Trustee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.

 

INSPECTION DATES:  The assets and vehicles will be available for inspection at 21530 Blackwood Ct, #150, Sterling, Virginia on these two dates:

 

  • Friday, May 20 from 10 am – 1 pm
  • Tuesday, May 24 from 10 am – 1 pm

 

VEHICLES:  IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THE CARFAX VEHICLE HISTORY REPORTS - We have included CARFAX history reports for each vehicle.  Please note that these reports are provided for your information only and are only intended to be an aid in your due diligence.  We strive to be as transparent as possible with our sales but you are ultimately responsible for deciding on the condition of each asset being sold and its suitability for your purpose.  Buyers are responsible for removing company branding and retitling fees at DMV.  The personal property taxes will be pro-rated through the date of the Bill of Sale. All vehicles are being sold “as is” but with clear title.

PAYMENT:  Payment is required by Friday, June 3, 2022. 

  • No cash will be accepted
  • Payment for vehicles will be by certified funds, payable to RealMarkets
  • Payment for non-vehicle assets can be personal check, company check, or certified funds, payable to RealMarkets
  • With the exception of the vehicles, Virginia sales tax will be collected from the buyer unless the buyer presents tax exempt certificate prior to or at the time of purchase.

 

ASSET PICKUP:  Successful buyers are responsible for removing all of their purchased assets at one time.  The warehouse is at ground level and there is a large roll-up door in the parking lot at the rear of the building for easy access.  The assets must be removed in the following timeframe:

  • All warehouse inventory (except the shelving), office equipment and furniture, and vehicles (except the Bobcat) must be removed on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 between 8 am – 2 pm
  • All racks, shelving, and the Bobcat must be removed between June 8 – 10, 2022 (by appointment)
